Es war einmal im Kuhländchen...
Die Volksschule der Gemeinde Partschendorf
Im Jahre 1646 starb der damalige Besitzer der Herrschaft Partschendorf, ein Graf Christian Karl Podstatzky von Prussinowitz. Zufolge Erbteilung zwischen seinen 4 Söhnen fiel Partschendorf (mit Sitz, Hof, Dorf, 2 neuen Höfen, der Kirche, der Schule, Obst-, Küchen-, Bienen- und Hopfengärten, Brauhaus etc.) seinem dritten Sohn, ebenfalls Christian Karl geheißen, zu. Hier wird zum erstenmal die Schule erwähnt, also musste sie bereits bestanden haben. Wie lange schon, ist nicht mehr zu klären. Das damalige Schulgebäude stand auf demselben Grundstück wie heute, doch hart an der Straße. Nach rückwärts bis zum Dorfbach schloss sich der große Schulgarten an. Nach etwa 100 Jahren war diese aus Holz errichtete Schule baufällig und es wurde an der gleichen Stelle ein neues, ebenfalls hölzernes Schulhaus erstellt. Auch das zweite wurde baufällig und im Jahre 1876 schritt man unter dem damaligen Bürgermeister Math. Bsirske von Haus Nr. 42 an die Errichtung eines in dieser Zeit modernen, geräumigen Schulhauses, aus Ziegeln (Backsteinen), mit Schiefer gedeckt. Es stand nicht mehr hart an der Straße, sondern lag 10 m zurück, war einstöckig und enthielt drei Klassenzimmer und Wohnungen für alle hier beschäftigten Lehrer. Während des Baues wurde im Nachbarhaus Nr. 148 unterrichtet. Es gehörte dem Schmiedemeister Leopold Storzer.
Um das Jahr 1850 kam bereits ein für die damalige Zeit sehr gut ausgebildeter Lehrer, Florian Brückner, an die Partschendorfer Schule. Er war Oberlehrer, sein Unterlehrer, Johann Blaschke - ein gebürtiger Senftlebener - hatte die gleiche Ausbildung genossen. Als dritte Lehrkraft wirkte eine Lehrerin, die auch den Handarbeitsunterricht für die Mädchen zu erteilen hatte. Partschendorf hatte bereits vor der Jahrhundertwende etwas über 2000 Einwohner. Die Schülerzahl war dementsprechend groß. Die Räume, die als Lehrerwohnungen benützt wurden, mussten abgetreten und als Unterrichtsräume eingerichtet werden. Die Schule wurde 1893 fünfklassig. Die 4. Klasse hatte 2 Abteilungen, 4a - 4. Schuljahr, 4b - 5. Schuljahr, war in einem Raum untergebracht und wurde von einem Lehrer unterrichtet. Im Schuljahr 1902 / 03 hatte diese Klasse mehr als 100 Schüler, ein untragbarer Zustand, und sie musste geteilt werden. Nun hatte die Schule in Wirklichkeit schon 6 Klassen, wurde aber offiziell noch immer als fünfklassige Volksschule mit einer Parallelabteilung geführt. Erst Oberlehrer Karl Trompisch setzte es nach 1930 durch, dass sie die ihr zukommende Bezeichnung sechsklassige Volksschule erhielt. Ihre Oberlehrer waren: Bis 1891 Florian Brückner, ihm wurde für sein langjähriges vorzügliches Wirken das goldene verliehen. Er legte auch eine Ortschronik an, die anfangs wohl nur sein Privateigentum war, später von der Gemeinde übernommen und als Gemeindechronik weitergeführt wurde. Sie ist in den Wirren der Vertreibung 1945 verloren gegangen. Oberlehrer Brückner war auch Gemeindeschriftfüher. Er starb 1906. Sein Nachfolger im Schulamt war Oberlehrer Johann Blatschke von 1891 bis 1919. 1920 wurde Oberlehrer Hugo Heller mit der Schulleitung betraut. Nach seiner Pensionierung 1926 führte Lehrer Albert Irmler ein Jahr lang die Leitungsgeschäfte, dann folgte 1927 - 1940 Oberlehrer Karl Trompisch, von 1940 - 1941 Oberlehrer Wilhelm Jahn, nach dessen Bestellung zum Bürgermeister von Freiberg, Oberlehrer Josef Pietsch von 1942 - 1945. Er wurde als Volkssturmmann zum Wehrdienst eingezogen und gilt seit dieser Zeit als vermisst. Knapp vor dem Zusammenbruch waren an der Schule noch 3 Lehrerinnen beschäftigt; Maria Burkart, Schulleiterin, Emma Bahner und Antonie Fritsch, geb. Richter.
Bereits im Jahre 1926 wurde der Schule auch ein Kindergarten angegliedert, dessen pädagogischer Leiter bis 1941 Oberlehrer Wilhelm Jahn war. Sowohl die Kindergärtnerin, wie auch die jeweilige Wärterin, wurden von der Gemeinde bezahlt. Die letzte Kindergärtnerin war Edeltraud Fender.
